What we handle

In the course of bookkeeping work, Kinshiro LLP accesses financial records, transaction data, and business documents belonging to our CPA firm partners and their end clients, along with basic contact details for the people we correspond with.

How it's used

Client data is used only to perform the categorization, reconciliation, and reporting work a partner firm has engaged us for. It is not sold, rented, or repurposed outside that engagement.

No client data trains any model

We do not train models on client books. Categorization draws on that client's own transaction history and general vendor reference data — never another firm's file, and never in aggregate for model training of any kind.

Retention and deletion

Records are held for the period your engagement letter specifies. On termination, data is returned and deleted on request — not retained indefinitely.

Security

Work happens inside access-controlled sessions, assigned by client and logged. Each client's records are isolated at the database level. Nothing is downloaded to a personal machine. See the Security page for detail.

IRS §7216 and professional standards

Where tax return information is involved, no disclosure happens without a signed Section 7216 consent on file first.
